What is the CRYO XC

The CRYO XC™ is a whole-body cryotherapy (WBC) chamber designed for the rapid exposure of the user's body to extremely cold temperatures ranging from -110°C to -150°C / -170°F to -240°F. The cool vapours released by the unit create a vortex of extremely cold air that surrounds the user and stimulates skin receptors across the user's body. Sudden exposure to a cold environment can have a positive effect on blood circulation, which helps speed up recovery from physical activity and improves rehabilitation from injuries.

Pressurized system

The CRYO XC™ Pressurized system uses pressurized nitrogen tanks and vessels for the storage and supply of liquid nitrogen. During operation, liquid nitrogen is supplied into the system under pressure that is maintained inside the storage vessel.The Pressurized System is suitable for high capacity & high footfall locations, wellness/recovery centres, sports organizations, fitness centres, training facilities, rehabilitation facilities, and medical facilities/clinics.

Non-Pressurized system

The CRYO XC™ Non-Pressurized system uses non-pressurized vessels also called dewars for the storage and supply of liquid nitrogen. During operation, liquid nitrogen is transferred into the mechanism with the help of pressure generated by the cryotherapy unit.The Pressurized System is suitable for cryotherapy startups wellness/recovery centres, spas, sports organizations, fitness centres/gyms, training facilities, beauty centres, home & private use, exclusive clubs.

Hot and Cold CRYO

Contrast Cryo

The body is pre-heated inside the XC for 3 to 5 minutes with up to 50°C warm air - This opens the vessels which promote the blood circulation. Not only does it feel comfortable, but it also increases the effectiveness of cryotherapy. The onset of the cold influx vascular reaction is stronger, and the positive effect of the cold can fully unfold.

Cold Cryotherapy

During a 2-3 minute session at cryotherapy temperature (-110C to -160C), blood vessels in your skin’s surface and muscle tissues constrict, forcing blood away from your extremities and to your core. Here, the body’s natural filtration system removes toxins & inflammatory properties out of the blood

Recover

After exiting the chamber, blood flows back to the extremities. Enriched in oxygen, nutrients & enzymes, your blood warms the skin & muscle tissues while also increasing range of motion. Over the next 48 hours, the process of restoration occurs, and the body returns to a former & better state of homeostasis.
